WEB Programs for Success
Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore. Inc., a 501©3 non-profit, builds the success of individuals, our community, and the Maryland economy through its outcomes-oriented, skill-based training programs. Since 1989, WEB has helped its clients and graduates to:
- increase their household incomes by starting up sustainable, profitable businesses and
- improve the economic conditions of their communities by creating employment opportunities.
WEB is providing solutions every day that energize aspiring entrepreneurs to start up businesses and revitalize small businesses that need strategies to sustain and grow in these challenging times. Through its well-sequenced training programs, WEB empowers entrepreneurs to identify a realistic business idea; to research all steps in the start-up process, including sources of capital; to develop a business plan; and to launch their businesses within a structured time frame. WEB supports its graduates through the initial phases of business ownership. In addition, it offers courses to the “second stage” business owner, in business one year or longer, to help with strategic planning, expansion and profitability. Our program year includes an annual Women Mean Business Conference, additional workshops, and special events.
