March is Women’s History Month, when generations of females are honored for their invaluable contributions to society. To kick off this observance, the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will host “Women Entrepreneurs: Celebrating the Past, Inventing the Future” to pay tribute to women whose innovation, ingenuity and inventions have improved our lives.
The March 1st celebration will also debut groundbreaking research from the NWBC on the history of women and intellectual property.
The morning event will be followed by a public Council Meeting of the NWBC, where policy recommendations are welcomed. Everyone is encouraged to participate in these free, open events on March 1st at the USPTO’s Madison Auditorium from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
